As many of you know I have six beautiful children. Lilly is my youngest. She just turned four in July. This makes me happy and sad all at the same time. Lilly will be starting kindergarten next year and this breaks my heart. The reason it does is that I have always had a child at home with me for the past 16 years and I don't know what I'm going to do with myself when she leaves for school. I want to keep her my baby forever but I can't. Time truly does go by so fast...especially as an adult. I do know for sure that this next year I'm going to enjoy every moment before I send her off to her first day of school. Here are a few pictures from her four year old shoot.

So, this year I wanted to do a 52 week project. That is at least taking one photo a week for a whole year. Last year I noticed I wasn't picking my camera up enough, and I wanted to change that this year. I thought I would start off small...small being the 52 weeks, and maybe next year doing a 365 day project. There is no rhyme or reason for my photo choices, just as long as I put some thought into the idea and create it. I'm going to do my best on writing a blog every week for each picture I take, even if it's just a sentence. Since I'm starting almost two months in writing this post, I will share the first nine weeks of photos...I'm counting this weekend since I'm going to take it easy after my first half-marathon. My plan is to also have all 52 photos printed onto one photo and frame. :)
